CROCK POT MAPLE DIJON CHICKEN DRUMSTICKS

One reason for creating this blog is because I want to share the “day to days” that help me stay sober. Being a mom, wife, and human being in general that needs food; dinnertime is a necessity, but also big stressor for me! By that time of day, I am usually tired, irritable, and my brain is not firing on all cylinders! Take out is a fantastic option for my family a lot of nights but there are definitely the nights when I want prepare, eat and serve a home cooked meal for my family and myself. So, I thought I would share some recipes that I have found to be FOR REAL EASY and a crowd pleaser. Some are healthy, some are not so healthy…everything in moderation, right!?

*Disclaimer: My kids still mainly eat only chicken nuggets and mac & cheese…Do not ever cook with the intention little humans will eat it. You are setting yourself up for disappointment! Make some food you know you will enjoy 🙂

This is one of Billy’s favorites- I tend not to remind him how easy it is! Chicken drumsticks, maple syrup, dijon mustard, balsamic vinegar, garlic salt & pepper. THAT’S IT! Only takes 4 hours high in the crock pot! (or it can take 8 hours low if you need to prepare it earlier) I usually serve with a 90 Second rice packet, a simple salad (salad kit bags works great!), some microwave steamed broccoli, and crescent rolls!
